Pandora (www.pandora.com) is an exciting, free, online "music discovery service" designed to help you find and enjoy music that you'll love. It is powered by the Music Genome Project, a collection of over 600,000 songs that have been analyzed, one song at a time, using 400 unique musical attributes such as melody, harmony, rhythm, instrumentation, compositional form, arrangement, and lyrics.

You pick an artist or song that you like, and Pandora analyzes the music, instantly creating a personalized station that plays songs that share musical characteristics with the artist/song you entered. You can fine-tune the station to your tastes by giving feedback on the individual tracks it plays - such as by removing certain artists/songs or adding new artists - until it plays exactly what you want to hear. You can develop up to 100 unique stations that play all kinds of music. Pandora is entirely web-based; you won't need to install any software to start listening. Your personal radio station - easy and free!
